SoundStarter 1.0 - is a utility which allows your Mac to play a randomly chosen sound each time you start up. SoundStarterｪ consists of two files: an application and a system extension (INIT). To use SoundStarterｪ, first drag the file SoundStarterｪ INIT to your System Folder. Your System should ask you if you want to put it in the Extensions folder. Click Yes. Then you can launch the SoundStarterｪ application to choose which sounds you want played at startup. Check the box labeled ﾒSoundStarterｪ Activeﾓ if you want SoundStarterｪ INIT to play a sound on startup. If you donﾕt want SoundStarterｪ INIT to play a sound the next time you start up, clear this box. If you check the ﾒKeep Error Logﾓ box, SoundStarterｪ INIT will write a file called ﾒSoundStarterｪ Errorsﾓ in the Preferences folder in your System Folder. You can read this file with SimpleText.
